We are delighted to be able to offer our customers our own dedicated grab hire service. We’ve drawn on our decades of experience in the waste industry to offer our customers our same speedy waste collection service via our grab hire lorry. (Also known as a muck away service)
The main benefit of using our grab hire service is that our lorry and trained operator uses the vehicles grab attachment and arm to do the heavy lifting for you! Normally the soil or rubble is stored on wooden boards or sheeting. The grab arm is then able to pick up the soil and rubble and safely load it into the back of the tipper body.
Our grab hire is our dedicated vehicle which has a large grab attachment on the back. As soon as the driver arrives at your premises, they can begin to pick up the waste. This will then be dropped into the rear of the lorry. As a result, this method of waste collection is especially popular for people disposing of heavy soil and stone. (by allowing the operator to do the heavy lifting for you).
We are able to collect large volumes of soil and rubble from customer’s property or building sites. With the combination of our own grab hire lorry and by operating our own waste transfer station, we can dispose of the waste ethically in an environmentally friendly way.
Time saver!
This service is a big time saver for landscape gardening projects or any groundwork’s which are being undertaken. The grab lorry can safely transport up to 16 tonnes of material at a time. Therefore this makes it probably the most efficient way to collect and remove your waste soil and stone from your site.
In addition, our grab lorry is also able to deliver our own recycled aggregates. This means customers can have our grab lorry deliver our recycled sand or type 1. Meanwhile, the same vehicle at the same time is then able to collect the old soil for disposal from your site.
Our main waste transfer station is centrally located in Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston. Our grab lorry is ideally placed to easily supply our speedy grab hire service covering the whole of Edinburgh, West Lothian and Falkirk.
Cost Effective!
Most importantly, grab hire is especially cost effective when removing soil and stone. The truck can collect up to 16 tonnes per load. Therefore, this is the equivalent to two 8YD skips worth of soil being removed. As a result, this has proved extremely popular for builders and landscapers.
