The 8YD builders skip is perfect for the removal of large quantities of bulky waste such as soil, rubble etc. or if you are having a large house clear-out.

  • The dimensions are approx. 11.5ft x 5.5ft x 4ft
  • Most common size also known as a “Builder’s Skip”
  • Can hold a large amount of heavy waste, such as soil and rubble.
  • This size can hold around 8-9 tonnes of soil, or 70-80 bin bags, or 20-25 wheelie bins
  • Ideal for large DIY house/garden projects
  • Suitable for larger renovations e.g. Loft conversions
  • About the size of a small family car

Our skips start from our 2YD mini skip right up to the giant 40YD roll on/ off bins. Our most popular skip sizes are available to view on our Skip Sizes section above, with measurements and photos to therefore help you decide which size you need. Also, we can deliver our skip hire to the whole of West Lothian, Edinburgh and Falkirk.

Furthermore, we also have a range of enclosed skips (skips with lids) which are really popular for Industrial estates and schools. This helps most importantly to prevent others from putting their rubbish in or taking your waste out of your skip.
