As an industry, West Lothian skip hire couldn’t be more diverse. The sun is shining, coronavirus restrictions are being slowly eased. It’s almost time to get the garden furniture out for BBQ season.

Who would believe that over a year has passed from the initial lockdown – what happened to 2020?!

Like everyone, we’ve had to change, modify and adapt our ways. Altering how we continue delivering and collecting skips in order to keep everyone safe.

We continue to change our skip hire methods – our office can only accept payment via card. This is in order to remove the handling of cash and the risk of covid. Our new online shop has gone live, allowing customers to compare skip sizes and prices and to order direct online: https://www.edinburghskiphire.com/skip-hire/   We’ve also stopped asking our customers to sign receipts when delivering their skips.

Furthermore we will continue to modify  – installing plastic screens, barriers, hand gel stations, face masks and installing air purifying systems to clean our office work environment.

Finally, we adapt  – our operations have been significantly improved with new technology. We now use an improved satellite tracking system for our vehicles, Infra red sensors to secure our yard, new Voip phone system to communicate with our team and customers and we’ve moved a lot of our normal office work onto the cloud based OneDrive. We’re keeping the region, and especially West Lothian skip hire Covid safe.

Given these changes, from the customers perspective our skip hire delivery and collection service will now be completely contactless.

As Dolly Parton once said “We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.”
